The Camden Community GreenUp: A Green Initiative from Greater Camden County Partnership
Welcome!
With generous support from the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation and the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Greater Camden Partnership launches the Camden Community GreenUp, a project meant to deliver to the city and citizens of Camden the benefits of superb vacant lot stabilization.
What is GreenUp?
Right now, the City of Camden is in the midst of a massive revitalization. But that effort is hampered by the vast number of vacant lots that drain the city's resources and quality of life. With the start of the Camden Community GreenUp, the Greater Camden Partnership's vacant lot stabilization program, we will change all that. The Camden Community GreenUp GreenUp closing event on October 19, when we will Òclean and greenÓ across three city blocks in Lanning Square, an effort that will culminate in a party to celebrate what we have been able to accomplish in just a few short weeks.Ê Look out for more information on this event shortly! Register as a volunteer for this event on the White House's United We Serve website, serve.gov, you can help us to take our city back!
